Renderation of Raag Darbari Kanara
Found a really nice song sung originally sung by the great Manna Dey... Actually I've been listening quite a bit to olden goldies from Bollywood movies (despite that I think most of the modern movies are full of crap)... So I've decided to post them here! I think I'll make into an olden-goldies series of bollywood songs. As you'll realise, most of them are in some kind of raag (probably the reason I appreciate it..) Anyway, here comes the first one:
Link to Jhanak Jhanak Tori Bajhe Payiliya The link above is to the song, when sung in an indian idol show by a young indian lad... The Song is in Raag Darbari Kanara...
Below, I've posted the original song.

haha what an rss hindu. stop listening to hindustani sangeet and be loyal to your panjabi roots
listening to music of different languages doesn't mean that you adopt the culture! It's fine to appreciate all things of all cultures... it doesn't mean that one has to forget his / her roots for this.
ps. all this hindu muslim differentiation goes against what is demonstrated in the Guru Granth Sahib by the inclusion of writings by members of different faiths / backgrounds...
Heyyy Satvinder didi! Where you been for all this long time? Totally agree that making differentiations serve to shatter the one-ness of all. Hope you're doing fine!!!
Never mind Satnam he's just a brat trying to be cool :D
Living in Sweden, a prominent European country, this young lad shares his views about current issues, speculats on some Gurbani quotes/shabads. Some posts including articles, personal stuff, and some other junk will also be made =D
